Why reTHink?
According to the EPA, nearly 75% of the waste we generate is recyclable, yet in 2013, only about a third of the 254 million tons of trash produced by Americans was recycled or composted. Landfill and ocean waste create toxic pollution that affects human health and the environment.
Who's Responsibility is it?
"There is this story of four people - Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Everybody got angry about that because it was Somebody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Somebody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done." -Anonymous
